Pennsylvania

Hershey Pennsylvania!  This place is amazing!  Even just staying at a little tiny motel they leave full sized Hershey bars on your pillow.  It's a tiny little town but they take their chocolate seriously.  There are Hershey kiss shaped things EVERYWHERE!  So we originally thought we would spend a little bit of time hanging out at the Chocolate Museum (there is a theme park but it was too cold to be  outside.  Like I have never understood the term bone-chilling cold until that day) and then be on our way, but we were there for quite a few hours, haha.  You take one step into the museum and the smell alone will keep you there forever, well and the old man at the front desk who told Luke his entire life story and every reason why he loves living in Hershey.

(bottom left is our poor little baby about to get woken up for another early morning)
The museum was so cute.  They had a little ride that you take and get a free candy bar at the end.  We rode it twice and you should have seen Truman sprint and turn on the charm for the old lady handing out the candy.  There is also anything and everything you could imagine when it comes to candy.  Even a 7 foot tall chocolate statue of the Hershey mascot.  The also have a little restaurant and chocolate is incorporated into almost everything!  My favorite being salted tortilla chips infused with chocolate powder.  It's also cute because almost everyone who works there are retired people and I'm pretty sure they just work here for fun to talk to all the little kids and hand out candy.
So, anyone who knows me knows my OBSESSION with the Reeses Cup peanut butter filling.  Like the chocolate on the outside is no big deal, and the regular cups are almost not even worth it, I'm talking holiday edition Reeses that are 90% peanut butter.  They had mega stuffed Reeses here, and a whole jar of just the peanut butter.  Can I just say that the heavens opened and angels sang when I first laid eyes on that jar of Reeses peanut butter.  Well guess what!? We bought that jar of peanut butter and it was just that, peanut butter!  I count that as my biggest heart break, a true tragedy, epic let down. DON'T. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY!!!
