You are my Sunshine...

Archer is 6 months old!  This little guy is so loved around here.  Truman thinks that he is the funniest baby ever and we all love to stare at him and try to make him laugh, which isn't too hard.  He is trying so hard to crawl, always up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth and sometimes getting those little legs to coordinate enough to move, he loves to sit up, when on his tummy he very enthusiastically grabs for anything and everything within his grasp, he's eating solids and stares longingly at anything you are eating that isn't pureed vegetables.  He loves his big brother and is all smiles for Daddy when he gets home, a smile that takes up his entire face.  His current favorite toys are computer cords, phone chargers, the wipes and Truman's plastic toy hammer.  This tiny ray of sunshine has brought so much joy to our family.  It is amazing how much a person this small can change the whole dynamic of the family.  He is the perfect addition.  When I thought I wouldn't able to get pregnant, when I didn't think that Truman would get to have a sibling that was close to his age, when I was told that IVF was our next step and I was not emotionally ready for that, when I thought that I would not hold another newborn baby and smell that straight from heaven baby smell, this little guy can along.  He is the little ray of sunshine in our time of so many unknowns.  These passed six months have held so much change for our family, beautiful, exhausting, emotional change.  We love you Archer James!
