One Down Eternity To Go!

We hit our one year mark!  So...I guess you can say we are experts now, haha.  We had some time before school started and Luke had some time off work so we jumped at a last summer harrah.  We went up to Washington and after a few days my parents came up for the rest of the week and we showed them around.

When we first got to the there was a deer with her two little babies!  We fed them all week and they were not very skittish at all.  Luke through a cob of corn at the deer one night to try and scare it (meanie) and instead of running away the deer ran straight for the corn, like a dog playing fetch!

Oh course, for anyone who has ever been to Washington with the Leishmans, we had to play pooh sticks.  The pictures above are of Luke finding the biggest pooh stick EVER, the stick (tree) getting stuck, my dad throwing a rock on it, and finally Luke having to go down and pull the tree out.

It was a lot of fun showing my parents around and we even found a few new sights and hikes
that not even Luke has been on.

Kurt and Leesa were so excited for us to go huckleberry picking because
August is prime season for them...well, we didn't do so well.

My mom used to be great at skiing, she picked it up fairly fast this time too.
But, mostly I think she just liked to be in the water.

Luke sporting quite an attractive wet suit   We pulled out the ski seat,
that was a very weird feeling, but SO much fun!

We had so much fun, and it was really great showing my family the sights and playing on the boat.
Thank you Kurt and Leesa for letting us go up to the house!
