Teeny Tears

My Mom and I found this awesome foundation a few months back.  I was looking for a way to give back as well as something to acknowledge the pregnancy that I had lost.  Teeny Tears was the perfect way for me to do both of those things.  What they do is they give you a pattern such as cloth diapers or angel gowns and you make these items to donate to your local hospitals and people whose babies were born too soon, or you can send your finished projects to the Teeny Tears headquarters in Salt Lake City.  These items help parents who are watching their sweet little spirits struggle for life or parents whose sweet little babies have passed on.  These items are very small in order to fit little babies who cannot fit into store bought clothing, they are small items for the babies to be buried in and for the parents to have a keepsake of their sweet little one.

I also decided to make some preemie sized beanies.  Those strong little babies deserve some flare.
I was inspired by these strong little babies and these amazing, loving parents.  I have friends who have suffered through multiple miscarriages and friends who gave birth to their angel babies too soon.  The pain is indescribable, but a strong support system can make all the difference.  I am learning more and more, all the time how important it is to comfort and support those around me.  What could be more important than taking care of others.  Specifically, right now, we need to love the sweet little ones in our lives, comfort the parents who have lost children and pregnancies, and take care of those who do not  have the opportunity for those blessings right now.  An act as simple as listening to someone talk, holding a hand while the person cries, and telling someone that you love them can change their world.  Alma preached to the people "...Bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light; … mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort..."
